Y2K built its future from borrowed parts. The early 2000s era resurfaced 60s space age, raised fetish gear from NY underground, and inherited the stripped purity of 90s minimalism. The mix created a synthetic, high gloss surface that our editorial wears with cold energy.

The linage of dressing for power & Avant Garde dominance
Triangle halter & low denim speak the early Tom Ford language ignoring couture overloaded details, and thigh high vinyl boots scream Madonna and Westwood. Capping the silhouette, the brutalist metal chain necklace on the throat references the mechanical grit of the underground BDSM and industrial club scene, and the jewellery in still life on the wooden table mirrors the minimalistic discipline.
139.04 / THE MEDUSA GAZE
Alien Blond Ambition & Ford Gucci
It takes a faintly alien face cold enough to carry all that. A medusa gaze that offers no warmth and yields nothing from the viewer. The fiercely high ponytail evokes the pop stardom of Madonna’s Blond Ambition era to the core. The pose emphasizes the hip bones and a completely bare midriff with sharp geometry, in tribute to the signature proportions Tom Ford engineered for Gucci in the late 90s and early 2000s.
